Career Exploration Workshop: Knowing Yourself – Unlock 100 Career Possibilities through Games

Have you ever wondered what type of job you might have pursued if you weren’t an athlete? How many careers are there related to sports? PACEP will hold its first career exploration workshop, where you can get to know yourself, explore different industries and discover your ideal second career path through card games.

We look forward to helping athletes get an understanding of knowledge and skills required in different professions as well as their own advantages and qualities, enabling them to establish long-term goals and better plan for their future.

The workshop will be run on two separate days for different types of Para athletes. Here are the details: 
Date: 4th November 2023(Saturday) – physically and visually impaired athletes 
Date: 11th November 2023(Saturday) – intellectually impaired athletes (can be accompanied by a family member) 
Time: 2-5pm 
Location: Secretariat of the China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee - Unit 1518-1520, Level 15, Tower 1, Grand Central Plaza, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong 
Tutor: Rainnie So (Founder of CAPALA)

About the Tutor Rainnie So

Rainnie has nearly 10 years of experience in human resource management. The CAPALA founder is the former People & Culture Team Head and Inclusion & Diversity Manager of Dialogue in the Dark. Rainnie leads her team to create career-oriented games, aiming to help young people explore different industries and inspire them to reflect on their own interests and develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for early career planning and readiness for the workplace through their self-designed career card games, mock interviews and CV writing workshops.
